You are not forgotten

In December of 2002, I requested a POW bracelet for a missing Marine. I received your name, and I’ve worn it with pride and respect for you every day since. I think about the hell you must have gone through, and my experience pales in comparison to your sacrifice.

Semper Fi, Marine.

You are not forgotten

My father John Bennett Luke Senior served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam. For as long as I can remember he wore a the pow/ mia bracelet bearing your name. He passed away 4/8/2020 and I have worn your name on my wrist ever since. Today I took two of my 3 sons to the USS Kidd museum and memorial today. I found your name in the memorial book. It was not lost on me what y’all did in order for me to be here with my sons living in absolute freedom. Thank you for your service and know that your name is still spoken and you are not forgotten.
