Lowell’s name is engraved on the MIA bracelet I’ve worn since 1973 and never taken off. I didn’t know him, of course, but I’m connected in a way that I can’t explain. I just wanted his friends and family to know that I think of him every day.

Dear CWO Lowell Powell, Thank you for your service as a Medium Transport Helicopter Pilot. You are still MIA. Please come home. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is Flag Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Be at peace.
