My Old South Haven "Best Buddy" in 2nd and 3rd Grades

Don...it's been a long, long time, but was remembering you this year's Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Day. I'm sorry we lost track of each other after I transferred to Sardis from South Haven all those years ago. But I often thought back to those times over the years. Thank you for your service. His widow

My son and I spent his first Christmas waiting for his Dad's body to be brought home. It took 8 days. We buried him on New Year's day. It has been almost 50 years now and I still miss him so much. Rest in peace my sweetheart. Till we meet again.
