Remembering Charlie
I believe Charlie came to Heights our Freshman year, and lived close to me, maybe on Shelton. We were in several classes together, one I particularly remember was World History, where he was extremely interested in wars of the past. I can remember his folks or mine took us to the Orpheum Theatre one night so we could see Mothra, seemed like a good movie at the time! Also was a very good Wrestler! So sorry he had to meet his end so far away and so young!

I remember him at heights
Although I was a couple of years ahead, class of '63, I remember Charlie from Height High School. He was a nice guy and was liked by most everybody I was aware of.

Charles A. Posey
We the class of 1965 Wichita Heights High School, Wichita, KS have not forgotten Charley. We are remembering our veterans at our 50th year reunion and he will be honored. He is our only classmate who died in Vietnam. I hope we can get more photos to add to his page and one of him in uniform.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SP4 Charles Albert Posey, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter
