Dear Sp4 George Pope, Thank you for your service as an Airborne Qualified Infantryman. I researched you on your 53rd anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Memorial Day just passed when our nation remembers your sacrifice. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Ricky,the flowers placed in the Turkey Baptist Church today is a reminder to those of us of your great sacrifice you made that we might worship as we please and live in a country that freedom abounds. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks also to your brother Phil for reminding us each year with the beautiful flowers in your memory.. He too served his country and retired from the army. We have so much to be thankful fot.
