Memorial Day 2024

Thought of this young man, George Pollin, and other friends lost in Vietnam today. I also have a MIA bracelet with his name from decades ago. If a family member would like this remembrance, I'd be honored to send it. Thank you.

Bracelet

I have had his bracelet since I was a teenager. I have always wondered if he was on the wall or if he ever came home. I'm really sad to see that he never came home. I am glad that I found an answer since I have always thought about him over the years as I run across his bracelet. If the family would like to have the bracelet you can contact me by my email.

honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. I am heartened you returned home after the passage of so many years though I wish it had been under very different circumstances. May you rest in eternal peace.

POW Bracelet

I wore George Pollin's POW Bracelet for many years. I saw recently where POW bracelets have been given to surviving family members. I would be honored to send the bracelet I wore to Major Pollin's surviving family members. Can I get some guidance on how to do that?

I was given my POW bracelet with your name while I was in the USAF.

A number of us in the Avionics Squadron were given these bracelets by a fellow Avionics troop. I don't remember his name, but he was a cousin, or perhaps a nephew. May you rest in peace, sir. Thank you for your sacrifice, and that of your loved ones.
