In honor of Jim
My Dad was in the same crew as Jim when they were stationed in Vietnam. They met on the plane from CO to CA and were friends for the remainder of the time they served together. Jim had a big impact on Dad’s life. To this day, Dad still talks about him. Dad has 8 children, and we all know who Jimmy Bishop is. Jim is not forgotten. Dad recently made a trip to DC and visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall. He traced his name all while murmuring “OH my Jimmy!”

Remembrance of a hero
As I have been given the assignment of studying a veteran, you can learn so much of what a person was like from learning their background. It was a great pleasure to learn about the impact he had and where he grew up! Thank you for your brave service.
