Dear Maj. Jack Plumb, Thank you for your service as a Tactical Aircraft Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Memorial Day is in a few days when the nation remembers all our lost. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Thinking of you today and always. Mom, Erin and I miss you as much today as for the last 51 years. I am sure Eric is there with you. Please give him a hug as well as we miss him terribly. I wish you were here to hold my hand, laugh and cry with me. You always made me feel so loved. Know that you are loved today and always.

Daddy, it has been a long painful year with so many things not going right. I really wish you were here to hold our hands and make everything all right just like you always did when I was a little girl. But I still feel your presence in my heart and soul, and you telling us all to stay strong and not give up. It has been 50 years today without you and believe me each one has been long, with this one the very longest. I know we all have two guardian angels this day and all of the days going forward. Love and take care of Eric and cherish each day as we did while he was here.
I can only hold tightly to the love you always gave me in the short time we were together, and all of the beautiful memories that have helped make me the person I am today. Kiss Eric for me and tell him I love him. I will always miss you daddy.
