Butch was my best friend in the Army 2
But when he took his laundry to the post cleaners they wrote down LT Bish. He got a charge out of it when he went to pick it up since they thought he was Lieutenant (LT) Bish, an officer, when he was just a lowly enlisted PFC.

My best friend in the Army 1 of 5
Butch was my best friend in the Army. We went through Basic Training together at Fort Knox, Advanced Infantry Training at Fort Gordon, Jump School at Fort Benning, and were assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division together at Fort Bragg. Butch’s full name was Leonard Thomas Bish.
