Peace with Honor

You were one of the brave that answered the call. You honored us by your service and sacrifice. We now honor you each time we stand and sing the words “THE LAND OF THE FREE AND THE HOME OF THE BRAVE”. Rest in Peace and Honor Lloyd.

Lloyd's memory will not be forgotten

My heart was hurting and the tears rolling down my face as I stood on Jefferson street watching Lloyd's funeral procession drive by and also while attending his funeral. I graduated with both Lloyd and his wife, Nancy, from HHS 1965. I remember his wonderful smile, gleam in his eye and his sincere personality that I always enjoyed. The tears continue to fall as memories of the soldiers who gave their life and those who served are remembered.

My mothers first husband

Although I was never able to meet you, I did spend time with your parents ( Lloyd and Mary )every time we visited Huntington through my early childhood years.. They were like grandparents to my brother, sister and myself. My mother ( your wife ) speaks of often to this day.
