Private First Class Kenneth Paul Bireley, Served with Company C, 3rd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, Third Marine Amphibious Force.

My father grew up in the neighborhood and graduated high school with Ken. SP4 Richard C. Fetterhoff made it home from Vietnam. He spoke of Ken often. I was named after him and my father’s lieutenant. My father passed away in December 2016. I can only imagine the reunion they had. You sir are one of my heroes and I am honored and humbled to be named in your honor.

IT HAS BEEN FAR TOO LONG FOR ALL OF YOU TO HAVE BEEN GONE. WE APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DONE, AND YOUR SACRIFICE. WATCH OVER THE U.S.A., IT STILL NEEDS YOUR COURAGE.. GOD BLESS YOU.
