neighborhood friend

Played a lot of softball and football with Tom, down at Palma Lane Park. Remember rabbit hunting each winter with Tom and the Busscher brothers along the railroad tracks behind the Pilkington house. We caught the rabbits by hand in deep snow and kept them alive in a chicken wire pen behind Tom's house. I joined the Air Force in 65 and well remember hearing of Toms MIA status.
Now retired in FL and fish with Jay Busscher weekly, we speak of Tom from time to time and remember him as a great guy and good friend. He is still missed.

Never Forgotten

I wore a POW/MIA bracelet with your name on it in hopes you would return home to your loved ones. Regretfully, you didn't. You paid the ultimate sacrifice. For that, I am forever grateful, but sad.

Never forgotten!

Tom,
As a Navy Veteran (1972-1976, VA-83) I wore your bracelet for years. Now it rides on the handlebars of my motorcycle, and will so as long as I ride.
God bless you for your courage and sacrifice.

I humbly wore your Mia Bracelet when I was a very young girl. And prayed for your safe return. Sadly I learned the truth of your sacrifice for my freedom. You will never be forgotten and I keep your bracelet as a reminder of what was lost. Rest in Peace Sir....you will never be forgotten.
