Dear Lt William Pierpoint, Thank you for your service as an Infantry Unit Commander. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Today is the 46th anniversary of the last day of battle of the Vietnam War. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Bill as he was known in High School, he attended J.E. Murphy High school in Hurley, Wi., he was from White Pine Mi. but his father was mining doctor at The mine outside of Hurley,Wi. we called fast billy cause he could run like a deer and was wide out on our football team. And I imagine he is missed by his whole family.
