Pfc Pickering was in the 41st Engineer Port Construction Co. My condolences to his Family and Friends. I also was in the 41st at Long Binh, S. Vietnam.

Dear PFC Donald Pickering, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman with the 1st Cavalry. Your 53rd anniversary just passed, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Tomorrow is the 46th anniversary of the last battle of the war. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Donnie I was best friends while growing hunting and fishing having fun. Was. Pal Bearer at his funeral what a sad time. As someone else mentioned Bill and Doris never got over their lost as most parents don’t.
