A Quiet evening Talk
I was stationd with Jerry, right before he went to Viet Nam. He was a happy go lucky young man with great spirit and convection. We talked of his orders ref. Point Welcome, and going over seas. He ask if I had any tips. I just told him I would be as carefull as possiable and listen to those who have been there. I had a very hard time realising the tragedy that befell him and his c.o.. In 1969 I followed on the C.G.C. Mendota. I was lucky and came back . I will never forget Jerry. He will be surely missed but will never be forgotton.
