Dear Sp4 Michael Pfeufer, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 46th anniversary of the fall of Saigon just passed, and it is still sad. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

November 19th will be 50 years since you left all of us who loved you. We think of you often and remember you. In 2020, in your old hometown of Dumont NJ there will be a street named in your honor in a new condo development along with other Dumont men who went to 'Nam and did not return. You would be amazed this used to be D'Angelo's farm.
Be at peace...our young man who never grew old like we were to grow old. Young men still be sent off to war...and now young women also...never to return or return injured in so many ways. But this time America is not booing the returning warriors..they are acknowledged as the true heroes they are.

You were our hero Michael..in and our of uniform. A good man who was kind and caring, funny and oh so good looking! Thanks for all the rides in your car..taking Mary Jane and me to the movies..all the memories of the Jersey shore.

Soon it will be 49 years and today received an email from your nephew Michael, that a street is being named after you in Dumont where you grew up next year. I will be there!

Forty-four years ago today we lost you...we always remember you, speak of you as if you never left us.

Maria, Judy and Mary Jane...still best friends after all these 50+ years and sharing fondest memories of you who we loved so much.
