THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

I just want to say thank you for sacrificing for us and our country. I hope you take care of my mom now, I will miss her dearly but I know she is happy to see you again. She always talked about you but, she also mourned you on specials days like your birthday and Christmas and especially when you were laid to rest. I imagine you are happy to see your sister again as well. My pain is unbearable having to live on without her but I’m praying she is happy and free from all of the pain and suffering she went through the past 7 months and also her quality of life before that. May you both rest in heaven and fly with the angels. I hope to meet you one day.

Dear PFC Donald Petersen, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. The 46th anniversary of the fall of Saigon is tomorrow. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

On the remembrance of your 74th birthday, your sacrifice is not forgotten.
