My best Army BUDDY!!
Joe,
We went to AIT, NCO school together. Then we went to Vietnam together, you to the 11th Armored Cav, me to the 101st Airborne. I miss you Joe, and
its a shame we never got to do with all the plans we made after we served the US Army. I would love to come to Florida to meet your family someday.
I will always be your partner.
Robert (B0b) Primeaux

Remembering An American Hero
Dear SGT Joseph Craig Peters, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

I will never forget
Joe; We were classmates at Brookside and I will always remember you as a fun loving and great pal. My dad packed me off to KMI so I didn't get to go to Riverview. I will always remember you and honor your sacrifice to our country.
