THE WALL OF FACES

Dear David, to honor your memory and the sacrifice you made for our country I want to make sure your photo will be displayed on your birthday each and every year when the Education Center is completed, so it is with great pride and humility that I post this remembrance and picture of you. You are not forgotten and remain in the hearts of many all these years later. You have been designated to be one of God's special angels, along with the love of my life, who also sacrificed his life during this war 45 years ago. God Bless You, David, for being who you were and for all you did--we live in freedom to this day thanks to heroes like you.

I was David's platoon leader in Quang Tri when he was killed. David was not only a great soldier, but he was a truly nice guy who was held in high esteem by his buddies and by me. As long as I live, David, you will not be forgotten.

David is buried at Confidence Cemetery, Georgetown, Brown County,OH.

As a fellow Buckeye, I say "THANK YOU"

As a Veteran, I say "JOB WELL DONE"

As an American, "YOUR DEATH WAS NOT IN VAIN"

And as a Believer, "YOUR SPIRIT IS ALIVE--AND STRONG"

I served with you old pal in Viet-Nam, hope you remember me, we were radio buddies together in Quang-Tri, I was near you when you went down, only God knows the truth and a few other marines but I won't forget!! Love you man!
