Remembering An American Hero
Dear LCPL Keith Francis Perrelli, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

Not Forgotten
Keith, I will always remember the many times we went out in the field together. While I was not with you on Sept. 25. '67, I was there to receive you when you were brought back to base. You were a loyal friend and a fearless Marine. It was an Honor to have served with you.
Semper Fi Brother,
Joe Valento FAC 2nd BN 9th Marines '66 -'67

Unfinished life
Buddy...saw The Pacific, another Memorial Day...think of you often and honor your bravery. Wounded once, you stayed, went back like Basilone. What fun you were. What joy you brought and would have brought to others. You are never forgotten, what you did never taken for granted.
