Thank You

Dear Sp4 Brian Perlewitz, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Yesterday was Earth Day. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I remember Brian:

Growing up on Thunder Lake in NE Wisconsin, Brian's family would come up to our neighbors, the Kemp's, for summer visits. My older brother and Brian were about the same age so hung out. Brian always treated us 'younger' kids nicely and we thought of him like an older brother. A very good man. I can still remember the shock of hearing of his death in Vietnam. You will always be remembered Brian.

Thank You

My dad always told me I was named after his friend from Vietnam. Tonight while looking at his page, I saw the additional photos. To my utter shock, in one of the additional photos, my dad is pictured with Specialist Perlewitz. I'm sure my dad doesn't know this picture exists but he'll be thrilled to see it. Thank you for your service and sacrifice, Sir!
