One of My Favorite Cousins
Bobby: When my sister Kathy and I were very young you taught us our letters and numbers and how to read our picture books. You entertained us in the parlor of our grandparent's home when our grandfather was very ill and eventually passed away. Years later when we learned of your death, my parents would drive us to your parent's home in Laconia and we would sit with your parents every night until your body was returned from Vietnam. Your parents never got over their loss. With their passing, the three of you were reunited once again. You remain forever in my heart.

Remembering Mr. Ahern in 2021
My fellow Laconian, I thank you for your supreme sacrifice for all Americans. I weep for the loss of such a promising young man. Who knows i may have met your father when I went to Weeks Dairy as a child in the early sixties.
Such a tragic loss. You will not be forgotten.

honoring you....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. It is so tragic that a life full of such promise was cut so short. As long as you are remembered you will never truly die.
