Dear CPL Ernest Eustace Perez, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

Ernie was a friend that I was proud to know many years ago. Him giving his life for his country does not surprise me at all. We will meet again if I too make it to Heaven. May God Bless him and his family.
