honoring you....

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. While all deaths in Vietnam are tragic that you died just one day after your 26th birthday is especially so. May you rest in eternal peace.

Thank You

Dear Lt Kenneth Pennington, Thank you for your service as an HMH Helicopter Pilot. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is the Easter season. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Remembering An American Hero

Dear 1LT Kenneth Edward Pennington, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

Sir, You don't know me but you knew my father. He named me after you and I often think of you. Its because of your actions that men like my father live today. I always wanted to live up to your name and that honor of being named after you. I had my chance during Desert Storm (DS) and upon return from my tour, my father, your buddy, greeted me with a Budweiser beer and a salute. I am still giving it all in life and recently joined a group to establish a memorial for the warriors that fell during DS. Desert Storm helped our country close the painful wounds of Vietnam and the way our men, women, and uniform were treated during that timeā€¦
