Buddies in basic training

Jim and I went through basic together at Ft Polk. He was a little overweight at the start so the Drill Sgt made him a "road guard" which meant extra running. He never complained. I think of you often Jim.

Jim is not, and never was, missing. I helped recover his body. I didn't know him well, but I liked him a lot.
