THE WALL OF FACES

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Dear Lcpl Gary Paul, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Your 71st birthday is soon, happy birthday. I researched you on your 52nd anniversary. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Easter and Passover. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

I served in Bravo Co. 1/7 with Gary and was with him when he made the ultimate sacrifice for our Corps and Country on July 24, 1969. He will never be forgotten!

I never got the chance to know you, I've heard so much about you, I am sorry you went through hell.
