Memorial Reach Out
My name is Patti and I work in the office of New York State Assemblymember Kevin Cahill. Our office is planning an event to honor those who were killed in Vietnam that were from our district, which encompasses most of Ulster County and Northern Dutchess. As such, we are hoping to get in touch with any of the surviving family members or close friends of this individual. Should anyone that reads this know how to contact them, we would greatly appreciate it if, with the family or friend’s permission, we could be given a means of reaching out to them. Our office can be contacted by phone at 845-338-9610 or email at [email protected]. Thank you.

Thank You
Dear Lcpl William Partington, Thank you for your service as a Combat Engineer. Your 51st anniversary was this month, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Holy Week and Passover. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

You are not forgotten
50 years ago today March 2,2020, we lost you. Those of us who had the privilege, to know you growing up in our small town , can never forget your laugh or your legendary mischievousness. That look in your eye, and that laugh, usually meant a serving of excitement was in the making, and you were the chef preparing to serve it up. All the "Boys" from town will never forget you or the price you paid on that day. You were a hero to many of us long before you enlisted. You are often thought about, and the stories of our teenage years in town, always reference You, Big Sam, and a host of guys, who will never forget our friend.

The Mission Continues
I never had the honor to know you personally - my knowledge exists because of your spirit remembered by fellow Veteran, Charlie Alonge, and your brother, Bruce, who worked with my father for most of my youth. I am proud of your service and keep you with me as I endeavor my own service to our nation. May you rest peacefully knowing your service is honored, valued, and continued through the generations of Veterans serving today.
