Specialist Four Danny Richard Parkulo, Served with Company B, 1st Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Army Vietnam. Montani Semper Liberi !

Danny sat behind me in home room our junior year in high school At Woodrow Wilson in Beckley WV. He was always nice and polite, very quiet. He was one of the first from our class of 1965 to be killed in action in Vietnam. I think of him often. He was a hero and one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

Dear Sp4 Danny Parkulo, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It is Lent, Passover and it’s spring. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

We were in basic training together. Still miss danny l think of him often.
