He was a hero

Harold was an infantryman with my platoon in the 9th Infantry division in Vietnam in 1968. I was his platoon leader. Harold died during patriotic service to his country defending the American way of life. I remember him every June 5. Harold you are a hero.

REMEMBER WATCHING ,HAROLD , GROW UP IN A SMALL AREA IN MICH. HE WANTED TO FOLLOW IN HIS FATHER'S FOOTSTEPS BY JOINING THE MILITARY. THE FIRST MILITARY FUNERAL I WENT TO FOR A FAMILY MEMBER. WE TOOK OUR SON,GEORGE SANDERSON , FOR HIS FIRST MILITARY FUNERAL , HE WAS ,12 YRS, OLD & REMEMBERS GOING.
