I wore his name

In HS I ordered a bracelet, and received one with his name. I still have that bracelet. I often think of him and his family.

I only recently found his name on the traveling WALL....

I bought Larrys bracelet my Junior year in High School, 1968-'69 and wore it proudly until I started work in1973 in a factory and was afraid I'd either lose it or damage it. Then I placed it in a place of honor in a bookcasechina cabinet, where it could be seen everyday. I talked to Larry everyday and even asked him for help in school. I prayed for his safety and to come home safely everyday that I wore his name and later when I had to quit wearing it. Somehow it always made me feel safe, and I felt he was nearby. I only recently found his name on the WALL when it was traveling near my home in Pa. I bought a rose, shed a few tears, & thanked him for keeping our country safe and for being MY friend all the years I have had his bracelet.. I often wonder if his family would like that bracelet.
I would hate to part with it but would do it for Larry.. I miss you Lar, though we never met or spoke. You were in my thoughts always. God Blessed us with you, and so many like you. I'm sure he has a special place in Heaven for you. Thank you for being My friend and you will always be with me and hold a special place in my heart.. Love you!!

I have prayed nearly every day

I wore his bracelet Windsor Connecticut. I hope no one dies in another war but it keeps happening. He is deep in my soul and heart.

I will always remember Lt. Col. Larry Biedgier

I also wore a POW bracelet with the name Lt. Col. Larry W. Biedgier starting in the early 70's when I was 12 until I graduated college. I thought of him every day. His MIA date was on my birthday, January 29.
I am glad to know the Biedgier family has closure.
God Bless You All
