Remembering An American Hero

Dear CN John Joseph Bialkowski, sir

As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.

May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.

With respect, Sir

Curt Carter

I WAS WITH YOU.

Dear John,
I spent a few days with you, but you did not know I was there. I am the U.S. Navy Escort that took you home to your loved ones.
I stayed with your family for a few days to comfort them and give condolences.
I never forgot you to this day.
One of my goals is to revisit your gravesite and pay respects. I will complete that goal soon.

Thanks

Hello, I’m a student from Gridley High School. For a project, my school has decided to go through this website and write remembrances for all of the men and women who lost their lives for this country.
Thank you for fighting to protect our country in its time of need. The courage you had shown was very admirable. Every American should strive to be like you. You will never be forgotten.
Thanks again T.J.
