do not stand at my grave and weep
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
As long as you are remembered you will never truly die.

CC....I grew up hearing the greatest things about you.
Semper Fi sir. I would like you to know that my father missed you very very much. He talked about you with the highest respect and told me a countless number of stories with you two in Khe Sanh. You were his best friend and he never let me forget that. He also went to go see your parents when he came back from Vietnam as he honored the promise you two made between each other. I only wish my father was here so I could tell him I found you on here. My father's name was Francisco Willie Lopez "Willie" is what you knew him by. I will always remember you C.C. Semper Fi and Get Some!
