we will remember
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Walter Owens, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun, and it is the end of winter. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

My dad- “never forget Walter”
My father, he adored Walter. Was in boot camp with him, was visiting him the weekend after he was killed in Viet Nam. The only thing he ever asked of us kids was “Walter never got to have kids, please don’t forget him.” We haven’t. He’s going on the wall of honor at Washington Memorial Chapel in valley Forge National Park... the same wall my dad is on. So he’s not alone on a wall anymore. We never met Walter, but he’s a Powers now and we love him.
