Much appreciated.

Haven't Forgotten
Starting in AFROTC, I wore Col. Ott's MIA bracelet for many years until it finally broke. I've saved the pieces since and also made a keepsake of his name on the wall in D.C. when I visited. I'd requested an MIA bracelet of someone lost around when I was born (5 Oct 1970), and from California like me. I grew up not far from Livermore, but I see Col. Ott is actually originally from Canada. When abbreviated, that's close enough! What a wonderful website to discover, allowing me to see and learn a lot more about the man I'd never met. I was also a USAF fighter pilot, but was fortunate enough to come home after every sortie. Lots of people thank me for my service, which I sometimes find awkward in relation to the names engraved on the Vietnam Memorial. Thank you Col. Ott for your service and sacrifice. God Bless.
