My Teammate

George and I were high school
football teammates and I also
served in Vietnam from 1970 -72. I thought of him often and
thankfully returned home safely. May he rest in peace.

Silver Star Medal Award

Airman Second Class George M Bevich, Jr was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his exemplary courage under fire. He served as a Security Police Military Working Dog Handler and was assigned to the 377th Air Police Squadron, 377th Combat Support Group, 7th Air Force.
