Final Mission of CPL Ronald L. Beuster

CPL Ronald L. Beuster was an Aircraft Cryptographic Systems Technician serving with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 363 (HMM 363). On February 4, 1966, CPL Beuster was a crewman on a U.S. Marine UH-34D (#148065) which crashed after takeoff from Ky Ha Airfield in Quang Tin Province, RVN, reportedly because it had been overloaded with a supply of barb wire. Beuster was drowned after the aircraft ditched in the South China Sea. His remains were recovered.
