A True Inspiration
I feel as though I knew you, Uncle Philip. My mom was only 9 years old when you made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
I hope you know that your memory lives on through us all. Everyone tells us of the brave, selfless man you were, and I couldn't be prouder to have you as my uncle. Although I wish we could have met, I know I'll see you one day with Maw Maw Dot, Paw Paw Al, and all of the wonderful relatives that have passed before me. Thank you for the bravery you bestowed upon our country. You will always be loved and will never be forgotten.

Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Philip Joseph Orgeron, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
With respect, Sir

Never Forgotten
Always Remembered
Slip off that pack. Set it down by the crooked trail. Drop your steel pot alongside. Shed those magazine-ladened bandoliers away from your sweat-soaked shirt. Lay that silent weapon down and step out of the heat. Feel the soothing cool breeze right down to your soul....and rest forever in the shade of our love, brother.
