Remembering an Old Friend

Larry and I were friends before we were drafted. We went into the service together in Indianapolis IN. Our serial numbers were one number apart. We got the same orders every time. We Deployed to Viet Nam together. We were put in different Platoons 1/10 Cav. it was the first time we were not together. Last time I saw him was at the Bob Hope show 4th Inf. base camp Pleiku 12/25/67. We sat together and discussed going home together. He was killed 12/26/68

HONOR restored

I stopped by your Grave Marker today, as a two year Veteran of Vietnam, I cleaned and restored Honor to your Marker as it should be. a Flag was placed, TAPS were Played, a 3 volley Salute, and a Slow Hand Salute were rendered. RIP my Brother, you will never be Forgotten.
