THE WALL OF FACES

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Surely you are now in a better place.
My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved you.
Especially to your bride.
I did not have the privilege of knowing you during your short young life but I will be forever in your debt.

Dear Lt Daniel O’Neil, Thank you for your service as a Rotary Wing Aviation Unit Commander - Helicopter Pilot. I researched you on your 76th birthday, happy birthday. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Lent has begun. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
