THE WALL OF FACES

I was Vicks platoon leader in Vietnam. Although I was only one year older, he seems so much younger than I. He was the most popular guy in the platoon.
It’s a blessing that his sister, Liz, still stays in touch so that we can reminisce about him. Now that his best friend, Guillermo, has also passed, there were a few of us left. But we never will forget Vic.

Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrances from your sister Elizabeth and Sara Ratliff are touching. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever...
