To My Father

Though I have no memory of you since you died before I was 2, I am so proud of you and I am sure you would be proud of your 3 grandsons!
We recently revisited The Wall and this time was much more difficult than before as I continue to realize on how much we missed together. I will love you always.

If I should die...remembrances for LTCOL. William Edward BERZINEC, USA...who gave his life for us!!!

If I should die, and leave you here awhile, be not like others, sore undone, who keep long vigils by the silent dust, and weep...for MY sake, turn again to life, and smile...Nerving thy heart, and trembling hand to do something to comfort other hearts than thine...Complete these dear, unfinished tasks of mine...and I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

And as a Believer, "YOUR SPIRIT IS ALIVE AND STRONG"

Again, thank you Sir, for your distinguished and faithful service, contributions, and most noble of sacrifices given to this great country of ours! ETERNAL PEACE MY FRIEND
