honoring you.....

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

In the footsteps of giants.

We never got to meet, but you have made the largest impact on my life. I am the grandson of your brother Paul. Your photo was placed with other heroes in my highschool. All my life your story and many others inspired me to serve, and now almost 3 years in I too am in the army. Thank you for laying the foundation of the kind of man I want to be.

Thank You

Dear WO Glenn Nowakowski, Thank you for your service as an Utility/Observation Helicopter Pilot. The 49th anniversary of the start of your tour is soon. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
