Silver Star Medal Award
Private First Class Wieland Clyde Norris was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity in action. He served as an Infantryman and was assigned to A CO, 2ND BN, 506TH INFANTRY, 101ST ABN DIV.
