Young Joe
Hi Joe, I just left a whole bunch of photos for you and your friends to view. I am 81 now and you are still my one and only Best Friend and still miss you and by the way we renamed our son Gary born January 8, 1967, one week before we found out you were no longer with us. So we changed his name to Joel to remember you. The JO from JOseph and the EL from NoEL. The name Joel means so much more to me than just a name. Ray Wolf

Beloved Uncle
Uncle Joe, I was just a baby when we lost you. I have heard many memories of you and regret I was not old enough to have known you better. Reading the posts it breaks my heart knowing what you had to suffer and endure for our country. My mom your sister has passed away and I pray every day you are together in heaven. We will meet some day. Until then know that I love and miss you. Please kiss my mom for me. Love you! Your last little Andie.

honoring you.....
Thank you for your service to our country so long ago sir. The remembrance from your friend and fellow soldier Ronnie Steere is touching and especially poignant as he died just six days after leaving his remembrance. I hope you are now reunited. As long as you are remembered you will remain in our hearts forever….

Thank You
Dear Sp4 Joseph Noel, Thank you for your service as an Indirect Fire Infantryman. I researched you on 54th anniversary, sad. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Ronnie and Joe were reunited Apri 15, 2016.
I came here to visit and was reading the remembrances left by others. Sadly I found that Ronnie Steere, who left a message on April 9, 2016, passed away 6 days later. Here is his obituary for anyone that remembers him. STEERE, Ronald E., 69, of North Conway, NH, formerly of Coventry, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 15, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Catherine M. (Moan) Steere.
Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late Roland and Barbara (Brayton) Steere.
Ronald was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked at CED Davisville Seabee Base in North Kingstown, RI for over 21 years before retiring. For several of those years he was a Construction Foreman for the Heavy Equipment Dept. He later owned and operated Village Lawn Care and was very proud of his work and a member of International Association of Hydroseeding Professionals. He was also a past State President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and life time member.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Ronald P. Steere & wife Tara of Coventry; a brother, Jeffrey Steere & wife Peggy of Yakima, WA and three sisters, Constance Cole & husband Joseph of Coventry, Gale Sylvia & husband Richard of West Warwick and Cathy Jean Walls & husband Richard of Foster As well as several nieces & nephews. He was the father of the late Chad and Brad Steere.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry, on Saturday at 10:00 am and then proceed to Manchester Cemetery in Coventry where committal prayers and Military Honors will be held for Ronald. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Visiting Nurse Home Care & Hospice of Carroll County and Western Maine, PO Box 432, North Conway, NH, 03860 (www.vnhch.org) would be appreciated.
