Boot Camp Friend

I was blessed to know Gary as a fellow member of Plt. 334 at MCRD, San Diego in the summer of 1965. Gary was very easy going, and fun to be around. Of course, we continued our association in ITR, following boot camp. I had the pleasure of seeing Gary again, when he was a patient on the hospital ship, U.S.S. Repose, where I served with the Marine liason. We had many enjoyable visits until he was discharged from the ship to return to duty with his unit in the field. I was deeply saddened to learn of his becoming a KIA. Gary was a great guy, and I continue to fondly remember him 50+years later. Semper Fi, brother.

Thank You

Dear PFC Garry Noble, Thank you for your service as a Rifleman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.
