Remembering An American Hero
Dear PFC Thomas Lynwood Nigrelli, sir
As an American, I would like to thank you for your service and for your sacrifice made on behalf of our wonderful country. The youth of today could gain much by learning of heroes such as yourself, men and women whose courage and heart can never be questioned.
May God allow you to read this, and may He allow me to someday shake your hand when I get to Heaven to personally thank you. May he also allow my father to find you and shake your hand now to say thank you; for America, and for those who love you.
With respect, and the best salute a civilian can muster for you, Sir
Curt Carter

His spirit lives on...
Hello, my name is Giancarlo Palazzo,a senior at Bishop Hendricken High School. I am researching Thomas Nigrelli for a project for my Vietnam class. So far, I know that he was born on September 28, 1946 and passed away on May 31, 1967. He was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army and started his tour of duty on November 9, 1966 in South Vietnam (province unknown). He was killed by non-hostile accidental homicide at the age of 20 and his body was recovered.
If anyone has any additional information or pictures of Thomas and is willing to share it, my email is:
