On this special day my memory of “NIC” is still embedded in my mind. I served with NIC in 3rd AmTracs at Camp Del Mar and Chu Lai, Vietnam. I still remember the day we learned his tractor had been hit. I am now 81 years old and still he is in my memory. Too soon, too young.
