Dear PFC Harlan Nelson, Thank you for your service as a Mortarman. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

Harlan. I still remember your smiling face and the night that you and i and Hugh got drunk before you left for Vietnam. I still have a photo of you in my office i look at every day. the one of you in your Marine finest.
I still miss you my friend. I think about you whenever i see a Mustang as well.
