Memorial Day 2015

Pilot Training Class 65G recently celebrated a 50th anniversary. Bill and I were classmates at Reese AFB . We both had been USAF Navigators before going to UPT.

He was a good friend and is missed - especially on this day each year.

Hopefully they will find his remains some day and he will "come home."

With heartfelt thanks,

I too wore the bracelet of Maj. William Nellans. I recently found it and would like to return it to a family member. My father also fought in Viet Nam and I will never forget what they went through to keep us free. Thank you Major Nellans and your family for the sacrifices you all made.

Sad Anniversary

On this day forty-six years ago I lost my hero, my father. Dad, I wish you were here to see your family. You have five grandkids and a great-grandson! I know you're watching over us and keeping us safe. Tyler and I certainly needed the angel on our shoulder during our deployments. I hope you're proud of us. Thanks for being my inspiration and helping to make sure all of my soldiers came home to their families.

*Trudy Thronson Spike, I can be reached at [email protected]. Thanks for remembering him.
