honoring you...
A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam
And for a brief moment its glory
and beauty belong to our world
But then it flies again
And though we wish it could have stayed...
We feel lucky to have seen it.

Thank You
Dear Sp4 James Nash, Thank you for your service as an Infantryman. I researched you on the 53rd anniversary of the start of your tour. Saying thank you isn't enough, but it is from the heart. It’s a New Year, but not necessarily better. Time passes quickly. Please watch over America, it stills needs your strength, courage and faithfulness, especially now. Rest in peace with the angels.

James Nash was the name on the bracelet I received when I was a junior high kid. I wrote to him and rec'd letters from him. His brother Patrick was my classmate. When he was killed, I was not aware of it. One day not long after, his mom knocked on my door. She told me who she was and asked for his letters. I could not refuse. I still remember him and my letters to him. I wish I still had copies of them today. What a sacrifice he made and what a time that was. Rest In Peace James. You were a part of my life and a part of history. You are missed and loved. PJR
